A weekend in-person gathering
Friday, October 20 – Sunday, October 22nd, 2023
Courtenay, BC
A weekend gathering to tend conscious and community-based end-of-life care through supportive, peer-based learning circles, courageous conversations, Advanced Care Planning and shared wisdom of facilitators and all participants. An invitation to grow and strengthen our capacity to live well while mindfully tending end-of-life matters now.
The Centre for Earth & Spirit invites you to join us for a weekend to grow community centred death care on Mid/North Island, through participating in a well curated and seasoned approach to meeting end-of-life with consciousness and care.
Living Well – Dying Well draws on cross-cultural wisdom, practical resources, somatic and mindfulness practices, embodied experience and collective insights. As an ever-evolving program Living Well, Dying Well offers a space to envision and experience together a respectful and eco-responsible approach to end of life. As a participant, you contribute to this growing conversation, and become an integral part of re-visioning what it means to meet aging, living and dying with vulnerability, courage, beauty and grace.
This weekend experience includes an opportunity to immerse ourselves in meaningful inquiry and dialogue to illuminate unique issues and challenges for each participant. In a safe and welcoming environment understanding, compassion and belonging blossom into significant and impactful and embodied action.
