At Earth & Spirit Café we offer monthly drop-in gatherings (every fourth Thursday of the month). Each month we host a guest speaker exploring knowledge that honours our dance of relationship with Earth and Spirit. A diversity of topics includes: reciprocal land use, respect for Indigenous ways of knowing, tending death with consciousness, and inspirational change-makers. In this session Katrin Horowitz will talk about how her husband of 34 years chose Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), about the path that led the two of them to that decision, what it involves and what comes afterward.

Katrin welcomes your questions and hopes you will share your own thoughts about MAiD.

Katrin is a novelist who has lived in Victoria for nearly 20 years. She maintains that Victoria’s blackberry-scented air is the source of her inspiration. Her most recent book is Just This.
