Join Ashley Mollison, Project Coordinator for UVic’s Equity in Palliative Approaches to Care (ePAC), as she gives us an overview on this collaborative which assists people facing end-of-life who simultaneously face inequities such as homelessness, poverty, isolation, racism and stigma.
Members of the ePAC collaborative work together to conduct research with local, national, and international partners and develop resources, tools, programs and services aimed at improving access to quality care for those facing end of life as well as inequities.
At Continuing Circles of Care we offer monthly drop-in gatherings. We tend to End-of-Life questions, planning and concerns, through learning circles facilitated by professionals in the field of end-of-life care — Renate Ringer, RN and Penny Allport, Life-Cycle Celebrant.
Each month we will have a theme and/or possible guest. We invite you to bring your questions re: Advanced Care Planning, and any other queries you may have in tending end-of-life with consciousness and care.
What services, programs and tools currently exist in the Victoria area for people facing end of life while also facing inequities?
Join us Thursday October 28, 2021 at 6:30 pm to find out.
There will be lots of opportunities for discussion, so please bring your questions.
