People from around the world have been passionately reacting to the UN’s news that we’re currently nowhere close to hitting the 1.5˚C target. There has been a huge outcry from ordinary citizens around the world, pleading with their leaders to listen. People from diverse backgrounds, bridging all generations have been raising their voices and demanding climate change be THE top priority.
This past December, Orca Soundings joined the procession that held the Johnson Street Bridge in solidarity with First Nations. Our fight to save the Salish Sea connects us not only to the whales, but to all of nature and to one another.
